Dwell Magazine Rebrand

White space, architectural design, positive/negative space. This is a simple rebrand of an iconic magazine. The goal was to create a new brand that is very streamlined and clean with a touch of quirkiness. The cover is mainly dictated by the photo but works in favor of selected colors. I enjoy white space and how nothing can create eye movement across a page to help you see important aspects. The table of contents is a fun play on architecture and stairs and the positive/negative space plays well with some of the off beaten path features Dwell likes to include in their publications. I wanted to keep everything clean and simple to complement the articles and features Dwell writes about.
