Early fall 2019, a family dear to me had a tragic event happen that changed the course of their life. Being so far away, there’s only so much I could do to support and help out. I set up a fundraiser for anyone who wanted to help and in return, I would draw and illustrate a pet portrait for them. I raised an impressive amount of money for my dear friends. It turned out be one of the most refreshing and fun projects I’ve done in the past couple of years. This project has been challenging in many ways, starting off with just Illustrator and a laptop and moving to an iPad and Procreate and learning more and developing more of a style.
